Darth Maul To Appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi?

No. Well maybe, but I hope not.
Actor Ray Park recently posted a series of images on his Instagram detailing his behind the scenes transformation into Darth Maul. The first image is below:
That is the prosthetic cap that Ray Park has to wear to give Darth Maul his horns. The second image shows Ray Park with red and black makeup on his face, holding a dummy Darth Maul head:

If Not Maul, Then Who?

These pictures appear to be just the actor reminiscing and the second image shows what appears to be a Solo: A Star Wars Story crewmember t-shirt. The only thing that stuck out to me with these images is that the first one is geotagged Tatooine. I think this is just Ray Park having some fun with his audience, I don’t think it means anything. With Hayden Christensen being confirmed as Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi, I believe the show has found its antagonist, Darth Maul showing up is a stretch.
For the longest time I have gone on record saying Darth Maul is dead and his story is over, we do not need to see Darth Maul in everything. Darth Maul doesn’t need to be the villian in Obi-Wan Kenobi, shoehorning him into the story is nothing more than fanservice.
It’s time for Star Wars to tell a new story.
