Quarter Mile at a Time – The Fate of the Furious

I live my life a quarter-mile at a time. Nothing else matters; not the mortgage; not the store; not my team and their bullshit. For those 10 seconds or less, I’m free.” – Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto

As you can tell from previous lists, anytime a GT-R shows up in a movie I’m adding it on here. GT-R has to be my dream car in all honesty in Fast and Furious started it all.

“Following their return to Los AngelesDominic Toretto and his crew devised a plan that would allow them to get close enough to Mose Jakande while within the range of God’s Eye that would allow Ramsey to hack the device and take control of it. During the beginning of their operation, Ramsey accompanied Brian O’Conner in the 2012 Nissan GT-R”.

2. 2011 Bugatti Veyron

This car had a very brief appearance in the movie, but a Buggati apperance has to be shown love on here.

“When the gang arrives in Abu Dhabi they acquire five supercars and Roman chooses a 2011 Bugatti Veyron. It is seen briefly when they first arrive in Abu Dhabi after racing through the desert”.

However, it never had made a re-appearence in the later movies.

I’m so glad someone researched the make and model of this bus. RIP Paul Walker.

The Kassbohrer is used to transport Ramsay to the vantage point but it is intercepted by the Family, before it is sent off a cliff, almost killing Brian in the process.

FAVORITE CHARACTER

A car is only as good as its driver and this franchise is always introducing new faces, here is our favorite character from the film.

NATHAN

Brian O’Conner

I’m glad me and Steve can agree on a character for one of these movies. Making his last appearance in the series do to his unfortunate passing, Paul Walker was the glue that held this franchise together and is one of my favorite characters in movie history. Paul will always be remembered and missed, rest easy Paul Walker.

STEVE

Brian O’Conner

I have to put Brian here, Paul Walker’s last appearance in the franchise. I want Nate to say his favorite character is Brian as well because this franchise wouldn’t be where it is without Paul Walker. Thank you Paul, for everything.

This movie had all types of crazy scenes but this one in particular has to be my favorite. Thankls Stve for letting me add this one!

Even though Steve added this scene, it has to on here for me as well. What a great way to send off Brian into the sunset

I can’t watch this scene without getting emotional, these are more than just movies.

I was going to use the jump from hotel to hotel as my second scene but I’m going to let Nathan have that one. The theme for today is Brian O’Conner/Paul Walker so I wanted to pay respects to him. I don’t do very good with heights and when Brian is barely holding onto the door, dangling over the cliff my heart just sinks.
This has been the seventh installment of “Quarter Mile at a Time”. Stay tuned as every week we take a trip through every movie in the Fast and Furious franchise.
